Bart Conway

Bart J. Conway is a paralegal, investigator and adminstrator for the firm, with over 13 years of legal experience. Prior to entering the legal field, Bart worked as a comptroller, manager and minister.
Bart graduated from Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri with a degree in Biblical Studies. Bart also attended seminary at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma

At Conway & Hess, P.L.L.C., Bart handles all of the workers' compensation cases for the firm. Bart also works as a paralegal & investigator on criminal, family law, personal injury and civil cases. Bart also handles all the adminstrative duties for the firm.

Bart and his wife, Wendy, live in Abingdon, Virginia. They have five children and one granddaughter.

Kathy Miles

Kathy S. Miles is a paralegal with over 25 years of legal experience. She began working part-time in the legal field during her senior year of high school. She has been employed with various law firms in numerous areas of the law. She has been employed with Conway & Hess, P.L.L.C. for 5 years.

At Conway & Hess, P.L.L.C., Kathy handles all of the personal injury cases for the firm. She works diligently with our clients, the medical providers, and the insurance companies to compile all of the information needed for each case. She works with the medical providers to attempt lien reductions so that our clients may have the best recovery. She also handles all of the Social Security Disability cases for the firm. She works with our clients, medical providers and the Social Security Administration in gathering the pertinent medical records so that our clients may have a positive outcome after their hearing.

Kathy and her husband, Ronald, live in Abingdon. They have two daughters and two grandsons.

Kathy is also involved in the Order of the Eastern Star. She has served in numerous positions in this organization and she served the Eastern Star as Worthy Grand Matron during the 2012-2013 year.

Gabrielle Young

Gabrielle R. Young, who goes by "Gabby", joined the firm in 2014 as a legal assistant. Through her dedication and hard work, she was promoted to paralegal in 2016.

Gabby works exclusively on criminal cases for the firm. Prior to coming to Conway & Hess, P.L.L.C., Gabby worked in the medical field.

Gabby is 2011 graduate of John S. Battle High School in Bristol, Virginia. Gabby lives in Bristol with her six (6) year old daughter.

Gabby is a Notary and is Microsoft Certified.
